One of the common mistakes we all make when writing requirements and user stories is confusing Business Rules with Requirements.
I noticed this when reviewing user stories where I work and I have been guilty of this too in the past, not so much in the present as I don't write requirements often.
Check this out if are still not sure what these are: Business Rules vs Business Requirements
Are you still confused? :)

Project Management using JIRA
In 2 weeks I have a presentation on how our team is using JIRA to manage Projects. While thinking of the content of the presentation, I was searching for material on the internet, and I found this interesting blog:

Good tips and something to start with :) Thanks

A crow sat on the edge of a tall branch all day doing absolutely nothing.
A rabbit hopping by noticed this and asked the crow if he could do nothing too.
The crow said, "Sure".
The rabbit curled up under the crow and relaxed and fell asleep.
A wolf appeared and swallowed the rabbit.
The moral?
To be doing nothing all day you must be high up.

SCRUM Master Training
Finally I had the time to complete the training and certification to be a SCRUM Master.
Travelled to Melbourne for a 2-day training at Renewteck.
Great training curriculum and trainers. Jean and Martin were very competent and facilitated the training very well. I liked the hands-on exercises and it enhanced my understanding of the principles of a SCRUM project and principles.
Now I await for a app development project that I can put my SCRUM training to good use.
